Leonard
JJ,
I had a great season in 2010. Including
2 top 10 finishes a 5Th place and a big
bass award. At the end of the year I
finished 10Th in points out of 77 and
missed state team by a mere 35 points.
JJ's was key to my success over this
year, making a huge difference on the
tail of a shakey worm in tough
tournaments. I'd love to continue to
represent JJ's through the 2011 season.
I have completely used up 2 bottles of
chartreuse and a bottle of clear this
season. Thanks for everything you have
done for me this season.
Thanks,
Nick Leonard

Randy
Duncan
We would like to introduce our newest member of JJ's Magic Pro Staff.
Mr. Randy Duncan, from Killen, Alabama, has been a professional Bass
Guide and Tournament fisherman for the past 20 years. His favorite lakes
to guide on are Wilson Wheeler Lake and Pickwick Lakes in North Alabama.
He specializes in the art of bass angling.
Randy is a member of the FLW and ABA tournament trials. He is an up
and coming force in these tournament trails.
Randy says that he first fell in love with JJ's Magic while fishing
Logan Martin Lake. He found that the product produced more strikes. He
said that once he found this product... that he wanted to spread the
word to every angler.
Crystal Scott Langston
My name is Crystal Scott Langston, wife to Jack & mother to Michelle,
Ashley, & Miranda. We live in Leighton, Alabama. I consider myself a
Georgia Peach transplant. I have had fishing in my blood since I was a
wee little girl. My father & grandfather would take me in the boat on
the river with my blanket and toys before I could walk. My grandmother's
pond in South Carolina would always be the weekend hangout. You were
sure of catching more than you could eat. As I grew up fishing was my
fun, using crickets, worms, and chicken parts, etc. Break out the Zebco
& Johnson, and I was ready.
Until about three year ago, I had not fished much for bass. The new
man in my life, (now husband), found out I enjoyed fishing. One day he
introduced me to left hand open casting reels and plastic baits. I
adapted to the new equipment, very well, and before I knew it, we were
fishing the Angler's Choice Couples Trail that year. With all the events
I was getting a lot of practice, but it wasn't until the day I hooked a
6.5 lb. smallmouth bass that I really knew I was having the time of my
life.
Since there was no getting away from it I decided to get in all the
way. Jack & I fished with Angler's Choice couple's Trail
2001-2002-03,until they dissolved the tour the fall of 2003. The fall of
2002 Women's Bass Fishing Association (WBFA) held a tournament on
Pickwick in AL. I teased my husband that I wanted to fish with them, but
he had all the rods and baits in GA fishing the Regional with his
partner. From that time until April 2003 it would come up about me
fishing with the womens circuit. My friend, Kathryn, printed an entry
form and gave it to me. The WBFA was going to be in Gadsden, AL. She
said she wanted us to do this tournament. That event changed my life. I
joined W.B.F.A. & B.A.S.S. in the fall of 2003. I became the first
female member of the Tri-County Bassmaster club, Phil Campbell, AL. As
well as an Alabama Federation member.
My excitement has grown with each tournament I fish. While fishing
the first Pro/AM tournament , I noticed the lady anglers had supporters
and sponsors on their shirts. I thought to myself," I want a shirt like
that." When I returned home, I started talking about fishing with
everyone I could and the response has been nothing but Wonderful!!
I started out and found 6 local business owners that help support me
during the WBFA tournaments. Then it happened, the B.A.S.S/ESPN
organization announced that they would be having a Professional Circuit
for women... I was so excited. Finally a recognized professional female
angler competition. I got myself ready and headed to Dallas for their
preview event in Oct. 2005. It was like a dream, being able to compete
not only with women that were local to me, but also international
professional female anglers. My biggest surprise was the offer from
FisherGirl to be on there Team for the 2006 season, giving me the
opportunity to fish all of the events. Now I have a tournament shirt,
sponsors and an amazing opportunity to pursue a professional angling
career.
I would like to say a BIG "Thank You" to each and everyone that
believes in me and offers their support and or sponsorship. A BIG HUG to
my mom,(Dorothy), for being there to stay with my girls when I have a
tournament. My girls encourage me. My husband supports me 110%. What
else could a girl ask for, well maybe that big "Lunker"!! I know its
coming!
